Officer – Network Planning & Analytics – 23000168

To provide analytical and business intelligence capability, developing dashboards and tools that identify and apply data driven solutions to solve and optimise network planning and scheduling problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs and deploys dashboards that translate data and insights into visuals and narratives that are easy to understand, can impact decisions, and drive business goals, within the context of network planning and scheduling.
Conducts evaluations and analyses of changes to the network, such as capacity deployment, aircraft swaps or new routes.
Acts as a subject matter expert for analytics and business intelligence within the department and help meet the needs of the Network Planning and Scheduling team
Assists in the delivery of the analytical components for special projects, requiring unique BI expertise, such as new hub analysis, joint ventures, airline start-ups, etc.
Develops and maintains data sources and data flows in Tableau and other analytical tools.
Works with data sources and data flows to ensure accuracy, validity, and data integrity.
Assists with the analytics contributions and technical production of the annual Budget Operating Plan exercise.
Designs and build advanced analytical models that blend data sources for creative insights into business problems and to align performance with the company’s strategic goals, detailed action plans, key performance indicators, and progress metrics.
Assists in risk assessments activities and in ensuring that the compliance measures are in place for the department via the company specific Information Security Regulations (ISR) protocols.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree (or Equivalent)
Degree to be in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) vertical.
Experience Specific Requirements

Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst with experience in data mining.
Experience in Airline network planning and scheduling analytic preferred
Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) – 3
Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

Certification in Data Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI or MicroStrategy

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage the Internal Audit team in carrying out Audit assignments in line with flydubai’s annual Internal Audit plan, Internal Audit Charter and drive the Company’s enterprise risk management processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the development of the Internal Audit’s annual plan in coordination with head of department, ensures the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.
Manages a team of Internal Auditors to perform complex Internal Audits which involve airline operations, commercial, finance, governance, compliance, and other business processes.
Oversees the execution of individual Audits defined in the Audit plan ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
Builds and maintains appropriate internal and external relationships. Works with Senior Management and other stakeholders to identify key risks and opportunities that may affect flydubai’s operation.
Reviews the overall Audit program and working papers to ensure compliance with Audit standards and procedures. Supports staff in finalizing the audit reports and identifying relevant action plans.
Manages and directs risk assessment practice for the airline in alignment with the enterprise risk management framework.
Supports Senior Management in developing flydubai’s risk appetite, reviewing action plans, and documenting risk exception management.
Keeps up to date with aviation risks and matters affecting the airline’s operations.
Automates risk assessment and reporting using Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system.
Provides training, coaching, and supervision to Internal Audit staff.
Prepares and maintains Internal Audit and risk management related procedures, guidelines, ensuring all routine tasks are documented and revised as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
Experience Specific Requirements

Aviation, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Finance
Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) – 10
Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

Qualification in Accounting/Auditing (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIA or equivalent)
Qualification in Enterprise Risk Management (CRMA, ISO 31000)
