Junior Inventory & Picking Manager

The Junior Picking & Inventory Manager performs all aspects of purchasing for the company and manages the inventory, distribution, and control of those items for all company locations. He / She must identify the products to be purchased, identify the most appropriate supplier for the products, confirm all aspects of pricing, confirm all deliveries, and maintain an inventory control database.
Primary responsibilities
· To build substantial procedures for the input and output of merchandise
· Establish a process for the handover of merchandise
· To ensure accuracy and completeness of the inventory and keep records to prevent inventory gaps
· To verify product information, shipping information, and delivery dates before obtaining authorization for handover of orders
· To maintain and update the inventory list every week as well as to conduct records audits of inventory
· To collect delivery notes and other relevant documents and share them across respective departments for execution of the orders
· Keep check of expired products
· Implement first in first out along with other best warehouse processes
Requirements
· 2+ years of experience in inventory management
· Superb clarity in communication
· Strong strategic skills paired with an analytical mindset
· Problem solving, planning and execution skills
· Great organizational skills
· Business Bachelor/Masters preferred
