We are currently looking for a finance professional with strong technical accounting acumen to help our finance team manage our accounting and bookkeeping operations. You will work closely with the team to support the day-to-day accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator able to step up to the challenge in a fast-growing fintech environment. You will be expected to work independently on your core duties while collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to establish proper accounting procedures for new products and activities.

What you will do
No shadowing or fetching coffee – you will get straight into action by working closely with our CFO and Financial Accountant to support in their day-to-day work
Assist with various aspects of our accounting and reporting process including support with general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and account reconciliations
Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Assist with a regular review of accounting records to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our books and records
Work cross-functionally with other teams to initiate and implement proper accounting treatment of new product launches and new or unique transactions
Contribute to the preparation of internal management reports pertaining to revenue, cost of revenue, operating expenses, and cash flows
Assist and participate in internal and external financial audits
What we’re looking for
A university student with finance, accounting, business, or quantitative background, or a fresh graduate seeking a paid internship.
Someone who is passionate about exploring, learning, growing, and making an impact.
Excellent organizational skills, and ability to bring a solution focussed creative approach to work
Analytical skills, someone who loves numbers and has a meticulous eye for details
Strategic, creative, and self-starter. You have a balance of strategic thinking and transactional execution.
Mastery of Google Sheets with basic automation skills.
Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written, is a must.
Prior internship/articleship experience with a top audit and accounting firm, or high-growth startups is a plus.
As part of the team, you’ll need to see things from the customer’s point of view and work with the team to optimize the user journey every day.

As an intern in the growth and marketing team, you’ll get the opportunity to work with our business analysts, marketing executives and growth managers to learn how to design and develop marketing campaigns. You’ll also get the chance to implement your own ideas on the app and give feedback on new features and products.
